Oh NO!!!

Here it is another week gone by...  Well here is what I have been up to!

1. LEP FB Page!  oh my goodness it is a HUGE amount of silliness and FUN!  Seriously I have about 8 regular pen pals now.  The hilarity that ensues is epic   Just tonight there was talks of 3 people wearing a tutu, darts were thrown, masquerade balls were "planned" a FIGHT broke out!  OK not really because we are all about rainbows, yoga pants and hugs but seriously insanely fun!

2. Mail Swaps!  I have 2 mini album swaps on MAS right now, A journal swap that I instigated with a fellow LEP super hero (we are exchanging a full journal, well half full  I am writing on every few pages and then leaving a few blank)  SO AWESOME!!!  Not to mention all of the letters to answer, OH and a traveling journal swap with some LEP girls (it travels around to ten of us and then back to the originator!) And, And, And...

3. Plus thanks to my YouTube debut thanks to Denise...  Haha I have also sold a custom coffee sleeve mini album!  WOOHOO!!!  I have been busier this month than ever in my Etsy Shop!

Whew, soooo that is why it has been another week...  BUT I do PROMISE a post tomorrow.  Becaaaauuuse I have already written it!  It will be a "photo tutorial" of how I put together a coffee sleeve mini album!

Field Notes?

Hello!  I can't believe it has been a WEEK since my last post!  Holy Cow where does my time go...  Oh, yeah I joined the LEP!  Haha, I have been having sooooooo much fun with all of my new pen friends and have been doing more crafting and letter writing than ever!  My mail box has been so happy.

So the other day a fellow LEP super hero mentioned that she used these little booklets called "Field Notes" to write nice big long letters in!  These books are small-ish in size for a notebook but big enough to write a pretty epic little letter or even include doodles and photos.

Well, you know me, I couldn't wait to order some so I whipped up some of my own!  Granted mine are a "bit" more embellished than the plain ones you can buy...  But they are pretty!  They have 10 (20 front and back) little 5x5 pages inside, are hand bound with cotton waxed thread and have a sturdy little cardboard cover!  LOVE!  Ok anyways, I promise to post at least 3 times this week!  Cheers!

Good Morning!

I should definitely still be asleep... It's my day off! And even though I would have woken up when the little miss decided to awake it needn't be this early!!! It's 6:30 am and the house is chilly and quiet. This is my favorite part of the day. I love sitting at the computer catching up on all my favorite blogs and crafty endeavors. I love the anticipation of waiting for my Winnie to come out of her room and greet me with a good morning hug and kiss.

This morning for some reason I woke up super early and the gears in my brain started churning. I started thinking off all of the fun crafty and mail related projects I have lining up! So much fun goodness. There are letters to write. Swaps to send out. Packages of goodies to put together. Minis to make. And I still haven't found the time to make more things for my shop! Must do. Very soon. I have been SUPER active over at the LEP FB page and it has been such fun.

What fun projects does everyone else have waiting for them?! Anything unique or exciting?

Ahhhhh A Video! (Tutorial of Sorts...)

Soooo, Denise my LEP buddy asked for video proof showing that Granny Squares start as CIRCLES but turn into squares, so...  I did...  (dun dun dun (dramatic music))  So here is the silly video!  Hope it helps someone, anyone!   Or at least you should get a laugh out of it.  Oh and I will offer refunds on the 9 mins you wasted out of your very precious life if need be.  Cheers!!!

Organized Chaos Rainbow

Hello!!! It's been a busy week. Lots of swaps and mail going out, one shop sale. Woohoo!!! I am loving meeting new people this month. I have been good and really active over at MiniAlbumScraps.ning and over on the LEP Facebook page. So I thought I would share some photos of how I keep my crafty supplies organized. Though if you asked the hubby he'd say my crafty space is a complete disaster! But hey, I've been busy crafting so duh!  Lol.  I love these new bins, drawers and jars I'm using because they are clear! So not only can I keep like minded tid bits together but I can see exactly what is in there without having to release the chaos and open the lid. Cheers for messy rainbow piles of paper!
